If I also had to watch the rental payment date it would be annoying. A few days before pickup I only checked the email to confirm the amount. Then I went to the counter near the airport and got the car. Everything went smooth. We used the car for about a month. We drove around the area. On return day it was around June 30 at about 1 pm when we gave the car back in Newark. After the rental ended I checked my credit card bill. The charges were just the ones I already knew. There was nothing strange. That made me feel even more safe. I really like the One-Dollar Freeze way because it is friendly for parents like me. Our plans change often but I can still book the car first without using a lot of credit card limit at once. This leaves room for emergency use. Next time when I rent a car I will look first if I can use this 1 dollar booking option again.
